Canton woman claims $20,000 prize

LANSING, September 16, 2008 – Roxanne Sehlmeyer could not believe her luck when she found out her $2 easy pick Club Keno ticket was worth $20,000.

Sehlmeyer played the Kicker and matched nine of 10 numbers. When the Kicker showed up as a 4X, she multiplied her normal $5,000 payout to $20,000!

Sehlmeyer plans to use the prize money to pay bills.

Harrison Township woman claims $20,010 prize

LANSING, September 15, 2008 – When Kathryn Morris watched her Club Keno numbers appear on the monitor, she told Lottery officials she almost fainted. The 22-year-old from Harrison Township won $20,010 in Club Keno.

The regular Lottery player placed a $10 wager on a 7-spot game and matched all seven numbers, winning $20,000.  On her second draw, she matched three numbers on a 7-spot game, winning $10, bringing her total winnings for the evening to $20,010.

Morris plans to use the prize money to buy a car.

Sterling Heights woman claims $10,000

LANSING, September 15, 2008 – Sandra Metcalf, a bakery manager from Sterling Heights, is a very lucky Mega Millions player! On August 26, she matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number and won a $10,000 prize!

Kalamazoo man claims his half of Fantasy 5 ticket

LANSING, September 22, 2008 – The second half of the August 23 Fantasy 5 jackpot has been claimed. A Kalamazoo man claimed $264,103 after he, along with another person, matched all five numbers.

The university professor and Civil War historian was excited with his win – especially when he told his wife. He plans to use the easy pick winnings to form a trust, buy stock, and save.

The anonymous man purchased the lucky winning easy pick ticket at West Main Shell, 5171 W. Main St., in Kalamazoo.
