Muskegon man claims $10,000

LANSING, September 30, 2008 – Philip Nellis of Norton Shores, by Muskegon, claimed a $10,000 prize! He matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number in the September 19 Mega Millions game for the prize.

The easy pick ticket was purchased at Dave’s Party Store & Gas, 9170 US 31, in West Olive.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game played in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.

27-year-old wins $11,000

LANSING, September 30, 2008 – A Sterling Heights woman won $11,000 playing Club Keno! Sonja Gavriloski matched all six numbers in her 6-spot game, bet $5 a game and played the Kicker to win the prize.

Gavriloski, who was excited and speechless with her win, picked her own numbers “randomly” and plans to use the money to go shopping.

North Branch man claims $80,000 prize

LANSING, September 30, 2008 – Douglas Wheaton of North Branch has claimed the fourth $80,000 8 Over 8 instant ticket prize, leaving four, $80,000 prizes yet to be claimed.

A long-time Lottery player, Wheaton said the win “couldn’t have come at a better time.”  The regular Lottery player plans to pay bills and put the prize money toward his retirement.

LANSING, September 30, 2008 – An anonymous man claimed his Fantasy 5 prize at Lottery Central in Lansing. He won $375,090 after matching all five numbers in the September 25 drawing.
