The 19 year-old winner intends to use her new found wealth to pay off her student loans. She and her husband are also expecting their first child in July; their bundle of joy will enter the world with a college fund and a nursery full of all the necessities and a whole lot more! So this windfall came at just the right time for her and her growing family.

The winning ticket was sold by 7-Eleven 020F located at 130 Perry Rd. in Grand Blanc.

Wild Time Mania instant tickets were introduced on October 11, 2011. The game began with more than 1 million prizes totaling over $14.7 million! There are over 250,000 unclaimed prizes waiting to be won on Wild Time Mania.

Month of May proves lucky for $250,000 winner!

May has been a great month for Rojelio Reyes and his family. His daughter was accepted into a Master’s Degree program at college; and on the same day his son surprised him by getting married, he found out he had matched five numbers and won Mega Millions for $250,000!

Over $5.75 million in winning tickets sold at Michigan Meijer stores!

Michigan Lottery PowerballSince the start of 2012, Michigan Lottery retailer Meijer has sold six winning Lottery tickets with prizes of $250,000 or more!

Claiming the most recent Meijer win is the two member Lottery Club by the name of Bill & Sue. On May 15 they brought their winning match 5 Powerball ticket to Lottery headquarters in Lansing to claim $1 million from the May 12 drawing. “We would have claimed it on Monday, but we had to get all of our paperwork in order to claim as a Lottery club,” said the club rep.

Bill & Sue purchased their winning ticket at Meijer #197, located at 920 N. Lapeer Rd. in Oxford.

The Bill & Sue Lottery club intends to use their winnings to enhance their joint residence, share their wealth with a few friends who truly need assistance and invest the rest wisely so that they can live comfortably for many years to come. These avid gamblers are also planning a trip to Las Vegas too!

Meijer stores have been selling Lottery tickets for nearly 30 years. Over $5.75 million in winning tickets have been sold by the long time retailer in just the first 5 ½ months of 2012!

Other winning tickets sold by Meijer, which has over 100 stores in Michigan include the following:

    • March 26 – Meijer #26 in Wyoming, sold a $250,000 Mega Millions ticket
    • March 20 – Meijer #54 in Northville, sold a single Mega Millions ticket that contained 5 winning draws each yielding $250,000 for a total of $1.25 million!
    • March 16 – Meijer #68 in Westland, sold a $250,000 Mega Millions ticket
    • March 3 – Meijer #172 in Howell, sold a $1 million Powerball ticket
    • February 15 – Meijer #67 in Monroe, sold a $2 million Raffle of Riches ticket

Player wins more than he bargained for!

Fantasy 5The player was happy when he called Lottery personnel to make an appointment to come in and get his Lottery winnings. “I think I won $100,000,” he said.

However, he was wrong. The lucky player had actually won $262,218 playing Fantasy 5!  When told by Lottery personnel that his winnings totaled more than a quarter of a million dollars, the player whooped for joy, and then asked for the amount to be repeated twice, not quite believing his good fortune.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, says that the big win won’t change his lifestyle. He intends to pay off some debts, help his kids, purchase a riding lawnmower and “do a little more fishing.”

Player feels like a king after winning $324,105!

Fantasy 5The winner saw a Lottery sign as he was passing the gas station next to where he worked. He couldn’t believe it. Those were his numbers. He didn’t tell a soul about his good fortune, but he had just won Fantasy 5 for $324,105!
