Good Luck Lotto Club takes home $250,000!

Michigan Lottery Mega MillionsThe Good Luck Lotto Club of Hudson visited Michigan Lottery headquarters today to claim their $250,000 prize. The two person lottery club matched 5 white balls on the May 29 Mega Millions drawing.

One club member told a Lottery staffer that a portion of her winnings will be designated to help those less fortunate by donating to a local charity. The other member stated that he has his sights set on a new vehicle, not sure what make and model yet, but the winnings will make the pool of options a bit larger.

The winning ticket was purchased by the club at Beecher BP Gas located at 2982 W. Beecher Rd. in Adrian.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2011, the contribution to schools was over $727.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed over $16 billion to education in Michigan.

Daily 3 will pay more with Bonus Draws!

Michigan Lottery Daily 3 Bonus Draw PromotionThe Michigan Lottery will boost Daily 3 winnings with Bonus Draws June 1-30!

What’s a Bonus Draw? Any Daily 3 draw in June can be a Bonus Draw, and every time a Bonus Draw is announced, all Daily 3 prizes will be increased by 20 percent!

For instance, the regular prize on a Daily 3 number played straight for $.50 would jump from $250 to $300. On a $1 straight wager the prize would leap from $500 to $600.

Bonus Draws will be announced during the broadcast of the midday and evening winning numbers. Players can watch the drawings live at 12:59 p.m. and 7:29 p.m. on their local Lottery network TV station:

Club Keno winner scores big with The Jack!

Michigan Lottery Club Keno The JackThe Club Keno jackpot on May 23 was at $124,321, until 8:01 p.m. That is when one lucky player joined the game and would be richer because of it.

This player purchased a $2 wager for a one 4-spot draw, plus The Jack for an additional dollar and the Kicker option for another $2. As the numbers appeared on the screen, the player watched with elation. One by one all of the numbers matched with his Jack numbers. Then to make the win even sweeter, he matched two of his four Club Keno numbers and with a 2x Kicker, his $2 prize doubled to $4. Added to The Jack win, this wager quickly made this player $124,325 richer!

Two claim their share of the $426,567 Fantasy 5 jackpot!

Fantasy 5Three lucky Lottery players matched all five numbers and will each get $142,189 from the May 22 Fantasy 5 drawing. The jackpot at $426,567 will be shared equally among them.

The first of the three winners came to Michigan Lottery headquarters on May 23 to collect her piece of the pie. She purchased her ticket at Meijer #244 located at 8089 Lapeer Rd. in Davison. This avid Lottery player intends to use winnings to do something nice for her family.

May 25 Winner Number 2 picked up his check just in time for the long Memorial Day weekend. His winning ticket was sold by the Pinebrook Party Store located at 5625 18 Mile Rd. in Sterling Heights. This player increased his weekly Lottery allowance from $5 to $10 and it was a decision that turned around his investment many times over with this win of $142,189!

The Speedy Q Markets #345 located at 35700 Harper Ave. in Clinton Township sold the third unclaimed $142,189 of this jackpot. To claim the prize, the fortunate player will need to contact Michigan Lottery Public Relations at 517-373-1237 to set up an appointment.
