Lottery expands loyalty points program, offers daily giveaways

Michigan Lottery's WonCardWith today’s launch of the WonCard, the Michigan Lottery is offering WonCard Loyalty points and daily drawing entry opportunities!

Players who have both a WonCard account, which they have registered their WonCard via www.mywoncard.com, and a Player’s Club account at www.michiganlottery.com, will be eligible to earn loyalty points for using the card. The points can then be “spent” by players on multiple items in the Rewards and Prizes catalog on www.michiganlottery.com. Items available include Lottery merchandise and opportunities for second chance drawings, such as the $1 million Play It Again.

Once a Player’s Club member has a WonCard, he or she will simply need to link the two accounts from www.mywoncard.com. Points will then be earned as follows:

      • 4 points for every $1 spent on draw game tickets with the WonCard
      • 4 points for every $1 spent on Instant ticket or Pull Tabs with the WonCard
      • 4 points for every $1 in winning Instant ticket prizes paid to the WonCard

Players will be limited to accruing 500 points per day with WonCard-related activity.

In addition to the WonCard loyalty points, players can continue to accrue reward points by submitting non-winning draw game and Instant tickets through their Player’s Club accounts. Both submitted points and WonCard-accrued points will continue to be managed through the Player’s Club site at www.michiganlottery.com.

Registration of the WonCard will allow players not only the opportunity to earn loyalty points, but also a one-time entry for a chance to win $100 in one of 300 drawings conducted between August 12 and September 10. Winners will have the $100 prize amount loaded onto their WonCard Free Play money, which is good for the purchase of Lottery tickets. Players will be notified of their win by an automatic email.

Retailers can also get in on the action, as 10 will be selected each day during the promotion to win $100 credit toward a future Lottery invoice.
