We are turning up the heat in July!

Player's Club Blazing 500's PromotionMichigan’s recent record setting temperatures outside have inspired the Lottery to turn up the heat on Player’s Club promotions. And it doesn’t get much hotter than Blazing 500’s!

From July 13 to August 3, the Lottery is giving away $500 an hour for 500 hours!  Entry for the chance to win is easy: players simply need to submit $10 in non-winning tickets on the Lottery’s Web site, www.michiganlottery.com, through the Player’s Club. The first $500 winner will be selected at 2 p.m. July 13 and the 500th will be selected at 9 a.m. on August 3.

All $500 prizes will be sent to winners via email in the form of a digital voucher that can be printed and redeemed at any Michigan Lottery retailer.

The promotion offers 500 reasons for players to become loyal Player’s Club members. If Blazing 500’s is not enough, members can triple dip their entries from July 13 until August 3.  For every $10 in non-winning Michigan Lottery tickets a player submits into his or her account, THREE entries will automatically earned:

  1. An entry in Play It Again for the chance to be a $1 million finalist
  2. An entry into the Summer’s Ahoy! promotion for the chance to win a brand new 25-ft Michigan-made pontoon boat AND
  3. An entry into Blazing 500’s for a chance to win $500

All Michigan Lottery players are invited to join the Player’s Club, at no charge, at www.michiganlottery.com. Register today and get in on these sizzling promotions and so much more!

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2011, the contribution to schools was over $727.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed over $16 billion to education in Michigan.
