A single Classic Lotto 47 ticket worth $1 million from the June 25, 2011 drawing is still unclaimed. That ticket was sold by the Pardiac Shell Howell located at 6000 Pinckney Rd. in Howell.
The winning numbers were 04-08-09-23-27-35. The winner must match the all six numbers exactly as shown to win the prize and must have the original ticket.
The prize will expire on Monday, June 25, 2012. The winner must contact the Lottery’s Public Relations Division at (517)373-1237 to set up an appointment to claim the prize. The prize must be claimed by 4 p.m. on the expiration date.
Classic Lotto 47 tickets and all other terminal-based tickets are valid one year from the draw date. If the prize goes unclaimed, the money will be deposited into the state School Aid Fund, which is the beneficiary of all Lottery profits.
Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2011, the contribution to schools was over $727.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed over $16 billion to education in Michigan.
