Pull Tab tickets, part of the Lottery’s Club Games offering, went on sale October 27, 2003. They are available from vending machines at bars, bowling alleys, private clubs and restaurants that have been licensed to sell Lottery products. Pull Tabs are similar to the Lottery’s Instant tickets only instead of scratching the play area, players tear off a tab to reveal play symbols and prizes. There is an assortment of Pull Tab games in various prices ranging from 50 cents to $2 per ticket. $10,000 JackpotTM has prizes yielding winners from $2 to $10,000!
Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2011, the contribution to schools was over $727.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed over $16 billion to education in Michigan.
