The Michigan Lottery’s game show Make Me Rich! has sent yet another group of players home wealthy!

Wanda Hill of Bath is the latest millionaire. Hill intends to use some of her winnings to help the police and fire departments in her community. She will also take the honeymoon she never had with her husband.

Father Daniel Andree, who is currently assigned to Rome, Italy, was also a big winner. He received $500,000 in tax free cash which he will donate to his order to help senior priests get medical care.

The third winner is Joseph Curtis, a Grand Rapids resident, who couldn’t believe his luck when he walked away with a $500,000 prize.

The show aired on March 8.

All three winners got their chance to be on the game show by entering non-winning tickets on the Lottery’s Player’s Club Web site. Player’s Club is a free loyalty program where Lottery players can enter non-winning tickets in order to win prizes. Hill won with $1,000,000 Diamonds, Father Andree entered a Tax Free Cash ticket and Curtis won with a Golden Wishes Lottery ticket.

Since it first aired in 2009, Make Me Rich! has given away more than $25 million, two cars and a motorcycle! In addition, 35 home viewers have each won $1,000 by playing text in to win.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2011, the contribution to schools was over $727.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed over $16 billion to education in Michigan.
