George Johnson was luckier than usual on March 4! That is the day Johnson played Club Keno and matched all eight numbers in The Jack which is an add-on game to Club Keno, for $70,808!
Johnson was in the bar watching the drawing when he realized he won! He left his waitress a $100 tip and left the bar immediately to go home and put the ticket in a safe place. With the money he plans to pay off his second mortgage.
The winning ticket was sold by Burton’s Last Resort located at 9027 W. Long Lake Rd. in Alpena.
