Roseville woman an instant winner

LANSING, October 18, 2007 – This is the second time Denise Edmonds has won $10,000!  The Roseville woman scratched a winning $10,000,000 Game Book to win the prize.

The regular Lottery player, who has played since the Lottery’s inception in 1972, hid the winning ticket under her bed prior to cashing it at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights regional office.  She has no immediate plans for the prize money.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Party Hut, 29307 Gratiot Ave., in Roseville.

$10,000,000 Game Book is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
