LANSING, October 18, 2007 – An anonymous Fenton man saw all eight Club Keno numbers that he selected come up on the screen and was excited with his huge win!
The lucky man bet $4 a draw on his ticket, which multiplied the normal eight of eight prize of $10,000 to $40,000!
The regular Lottery player hid his easy pick ticket in his dresser before cashing it in at the Lottery’s Saginaw office. He plans to pay bills with his prize money.
The the winning ticket was purchased at Mo Doggies Bar & Grill, 715 Torrey Rd., in Fenton.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
