LANSING, October 18, 2007 – When Bore Ristovski checked his old Mega Millions tickets, he never expected that the one of them was worth a whopping $250,000!
The Washington man keeps his old tickets in a pile and checks them only every once in a while. When he came across his ticket from May 22, he discovered that he had matched the first five numbers, without matching the Mega number. He was excited with his discovery.
With his winning, Ristovski plans to pay bills and set money aside for his grandchildren.
The regular Lottery player purchased his winning easy pick ticket at Speedway #2263, 136 S. Main St., in Romeo.
Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
