LANSING, September 11, 2007 – A very lucky Cashword winner “almost fainted” after learning her ticket was worth $35,000!

Melissa Migliaccio has been a regular Lottery player for the last 13 years.  This is her largest win to date.

The Southgate woman plans to take a vacation with her prize money.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, 14515 Northline Rd., in Southgate.

Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
