LANSING, September 11, 2007 – Douglas Cope is a very lucky Holton man!  He scratched a $1,000,000 Lucky Stars Instant ticket and won a $10,000 prize!

The winner said winning the prize was “unbelievable”!  The Instant ticket player plans to save his prize money.

The winning ticket was purchased at Wesco #14, 4878 Maple Island Rd., in Fremont.

$1,000,000 Lucky Stars is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
