Kicker doubles prize for Club Keno winner

LANSING, September 7, 2007 – A lucky Eaton Rapids man is $20,000 richer thanks to Club Keno!

Jason Mrazek matched all seven numbers in a 7-Spot game, which usually pays $2,000.  However, he wagered $5 per draw and had a 2X Kicker which boosted his prize to a whopping $20,000!

Mrazek has been playing the Lottery for 14 years, this is his largest win to date.  When he saw his numbers appear on the screen, the lucky winner ?couldn’t believe it”.  He plans to use the prize money to pay bills and take a nice vacation.

The winning ticket was purchased at Abie’s Bar Ltd., 100 S. Main, in Eaton Rapids.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
