LANSING, September 7, 2007 – A very lucky Montrose man won $10,000 instantly when he scratched a winning $1,000,000 Lucky Stars Instant ticket.

Robert McNeill said the win was “shocking”, he plans to spend the prize money on his children and some home improvements.

The winning ticket was purchased at Gabe’s Grocery, 13025 Sheridan Rd., in Burt.

$1,000,000 Lucky Stars is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
