LANSING, July 13, 2007 – A Cedar Springs woman is $30,000 richer, thanks to the Michigan Lottery’s Red Hot Wild Time instant ticket.
Gayle Barkey hid the winning ticket in a book prior to cashing it in at the Lottery’s Wyoming office.
The occasional Lottery player purchased the lucky ticket at Viking Grocery Mart, 1325 Ensley Rd., in Howard City.
Red Hot Wild Time is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
