LANSING, June 26, 2007 – Members of God’s Children Lottery Club are “very happy” with their Mega Millions win.  The club matched four white ball numbers and the Mega ball number to win the prize.  They also won another $7 on the ticket to bring their total win to $10,007!

The Detroit club purchased the winning easy pick white ball number and own pick gold ball number ticket at Temple Trumbull Market, 2846 Trumbull St., in Detroit.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
