LANSING, March 1, 2007 – Mary Ann Billiard is a big winner!  She scratched her way to a $10,000 prize on the Super Red Hot Cashword Instant ticket. 

The lucky Niles woman was in “disbelief” when she scratched her winning ticket.  She has no immediate plans for the prize money.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Martin’s Supermarkets, 720 S. 11th St., in Niles.

Super Red Hot Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
