LANSING, January 30, 2007 – A very lucky Warren teacher matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number to win a $10,000 Mega Millions prize.
Richard Pankovits told Lottery officials that he was “surprised and elated” with his big win, which is his largest to date. He hid the Jan. 9 easy pick ticket in a file before cashing it in at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office. Pankovits enjoys “good food” in his free time.
The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Keg & Cash Shop, 28885 Bunert Rd., in Warren.
