LANSING, January 30, 2007 – Theresa Campbell of Redford won big when she matched four white ball numbers, plus the Mega ball in the Jan. 19 Mega Millions drawing.  The match paid out $10,000!

The winner was “shocked” at the win and plans to put the money in the bank.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling.

The winning easy pick winning ticket was purchased at Fiesta Liquor Shoppe, 25707 Plymouth, in Redford.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
