LANSING, November 27, 2006 – The DBTC Lottery Club claimed a $10,000 prize after matching four white ball numbers and the Mega ball number in the October 31 Mega Millions drawing.

The Club members, who are from Taylor, said they have been playing for about two years.  They plan to split the prize money.

The lucky easy-pick ticket was purchased at Chase Market, 6200 Chase Rd., in Dearborn.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $686.3 million.
