LANSING, October 4, 2006 – A lucky Fantasy 5 player claimed $143,044 after matching all five numbers in the Sept. 23 drawing.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, purchased the ticket at Eady’s Party Store, 10649 W. Chicago, in Detroit.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
