LANSING, August 4, 2006 – A very lucky woman claimed the top prize of $22,000 from the Lottery’s Double Down Instant ticket.

The woman, who opted to remain anonymous, was in disbelief when she discovered her good fortune.  She plans to use the money to pay bills.

The lucky Instant ticket was purchased at Lake Breeze Party Store, 26531 Jefferson Ave., in Harrison Twp.

Double Down is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
