Waterford man wins big

LANSING, May 10, 2006 – A very lucky player is $20,000 richer after he matched all eight numbers in an 8-Spot Club Keno game.  The prize usually pays $10,000, but David Graves wagered two dollars per draw to win $20,000!

The lucky player, who has been playing Club Keno for about three years, previously won a $30,000 prize as well!  He plans to use the money to go on an elk hunt.

Graves purchased the winning ticket at the Bachelor One Tavern, 1967 Cass Lake Rd., in Keego Harbor.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
