LANSING, May 10, 2006 – Frankie Gumm of Kimball Twp. is a very lucky man!  He matched all eight numbers in an 8-Spot Club Keno game to win $10,000!

The lucky winner, who has been playing the Lottery since it began, said he plans to use the money for home improvements.  He hid the ticket in his pocket before cashing it in at the Lottery regional office in Sterling Heights.

The winning ticket was purchased at Eastgate Bar, 26449 Gratiot Ave., in Roseville.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
