Livonia Man Wins $19,126 Michigan Rolldown Jackpot Prize!

LANSING, April 11, 2003 – A Livonia man recently experienced a little lottery luck upon matching all five numbers in the March 28 Michigan Rolldown drawing to win a $19,126 prize! That day’s winning numbers were: 1, 5, 7, 18 and 22.

In total for the March 28 drawing, 21,399 winners shared $67,060 in prizes. In addition to the sole jackpot winner, 92 winners matched four numbers to win an $85 prize; 2,351 winners matched three numbers to win a $9 prize; and 18,955 winners matched two numbers to win the
$1 prize.

The 55-year-old winner, who requested anonymity, purchased the winning "easy-pick" ticket at Wine Castle,
33415 7 Mile Road,
in Livonia.

The lucky winner said he discovered he had a winning ticket after looking up the winning numbers in the newspaper.

Prior to turning in the winning ticket at the Lottery’s regional office in Dearborn Heights, the winner said he kept it in his garage to ensure its safety. The winner, who enjoys automobile racing in his spare time, said he plans to use his winnings to pay bills.

The first Michigan Rolldown drawing was held on February 28, 2000. Drawings are held seven days a week at 7:29 p.m. The cost to play is $1.00 per wager. Tickets are available at more than 7,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
