LANSING, April 11, 2003 – Ben Myers of Royal Oak recently raked in some extra dough after scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Sky’s the Limit" instant game ticket to reveal a $10,000 prize!
The lucky winner, who works as an engineer at Witzermann USA, purchased the winning ticket at Clark #1199, 22145 Farmington Road, in Farmington.
The 28-year-old winner said he was "surprised" to learn he had a winning ticket.
Prior to turning the winning ticket in at the Lottery’s regional office in Sterling Heights, the winner said he kept it hidden in a paperback novel to ensure its safety.
Myers, who enjoys listening to music and reading in his spare time, said he plans to use his winnings to pay bills.
"Sky’s the Limit" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
