LANSING, November 15, 2002 – Paula Tishner of Trenton recently struck gold upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Money Mine" instant ticket to reveal a $25,000 top prize!
Tishner, a 76-year-old homemaker, purchased the winning ticket at Luxor Food and Liquor Store, 3174 Dix Hwy., in Lincoln Park.
"When I realized I had won the top prize, I was thrilled," said the lucky lady.
Tishner, who enjoys spending her free time with her grandchildren, said her husband, William, kept the ticket in his back pocket at all times to ensure its safety prior to turning it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Dearborn Heights. She said she plans to use her winnings to pay bills and make home improvements.
"Money Mine" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
