LANSING, November 15, 2002 – Debra Kinczkowski of Westland said she was ecstatic upon recently scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Super 6s" instant game ticket to reveal a $6,000 top prize!
The 47-year-old winner, purchased the winning ticket at Norm’s Market, 25760 Ecorse Road, in Taylor.
"When I realized I had won the top prize, I was surprised and excited," said the lucky winner. "With the holidays quickly approaching, this couldn’t have come at a better time!"
Kinczkowski, who enjoys spending her free time with her family, said she kept the winning ticket in her purse at all times to ensure its safety prior to turning it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Dearborn Heights. She told Lottery officials that she plans to use her winnings to pay bills and to purchase Christmas gifts.
"Super 6s" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
