LANSING, May 16, 2002 – Lynda Kallabat of West Bloomfield recently became richer upon winning an $18,230 jackpot in the May 4 Michigan Rolldown drawing! Kallabat purchased a ticket that matched all five numbers in the May 4 drawing. The winning numbers for that day’s drawing were: 2, 7, 15, 17 and 31.

In total for the May 4 drawing, 20,250 winners shared $62,271 in prizes. In addition to the sole jackpot winner, 66 winners matched four numbers to win a $113 prize; 2,050 winners matched three numbers to win a $9 prize; and 18,133 winners matched two numbers to win the $1 prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven #32189, 3495 E. West Maple Road, in Commerce Township.

The lucky 38-year-old, who is a member representative for AAA Michigan, said she enjoys traveling in her free time. Though she said she has no specific plans for her winnings at this time, it is certain that Kallabat will enjoy her recent windfall!

Michigan Rolldown’s first drawing was held on February 28, 2000. Drawings are held six days a week—Monday through Saturday—at 7:28 p.m., and the cost to play is $1 per wager. Tickets are available at more than 7,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
