Check Your Tickets! Michigan Lottery $150,000 Prize-Winning Ticket To Expire Soon!

LANSING, May 1, 2002 — Clean out your car, your wallet, your desk drawer, or wherever it is you keep your old Lottery tickets. One of your old Big Game tickets could very well be a $150,000 winner!

The soon-to-expire ticket was purchased at Tommy’s Party Store,
10973 Gratiot Ave., in Casco
, for the May 8, 2001 Big Game drawing. This ticket matched the first five winning numbers in that night’s Big Game drawing: 19, 21, 29, 31, 50 and the Big Money Ball number was 25.

Time is quickly running out for the lucky individual holding this ticket! Michigan Lottery on-line prizes are valid for a period of one year from the draw date. The holder of this lucky ticket will have until the close of business, Wednesday, May 8, 2002 to claim his or her prize.

"I am urging each and every Lottery player who purchased a ticket at Tommy’s Party Store in Casco to take a couple minutes this week to check their old Big Game tickets," said Acting Michigan Lottery Commissioner James Kipp. "If you are the lucky person holding the winning ticket, I guarantee it will be time well-spent!"

If Michigan Lottery prizes are not claimed within the one-year period, they revert to the state School Aid Fund. In the case of a Big Game prize, in which all Big Game states have contributed to funding the prize, Michigan’s allotted share of the prize money will be transferred to the School Aid Fund.
