LANSING, April 28, 2000 — Charlie McMillian of Detroit was shocked to discover he possessed a top prize-winning Michigan Lottery Big Game ticket! He could hardly believe his eyes when he saw he had matched the first five numbers in the March 7 Big Game drawing to win the $150,000 prize. That day’s winning numbers were: 4, 16, 30, 44, 49 and the Big Money Ball number was 29.

"I have had the ticket for over a month, but haven’t had a chance to check the winning numbers for that draw date," McMillian said. "I finally decided to go to the store one day to pick up a winning number report. I was very surprised at what I saw! I couldn’t believe I had matched five numbers."

The lucky man said he has been playing Michigan Lottery games for the past 27 years, and he truly enjoys the wide variety of games offered.

McMillian purchased the winning Big Game ticket at Warren & Jeffries Gas, 3200 W. Warren Ave., in Detroit. He said he plans to share part of his winnings with his family and use the rest to pay bills.

The Big Game is a multistate lottery game in Michigan, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Virginia. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at more than 6,400 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.

Big Game drawings are conducted every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.
The next Big Game drawing is tonight (Friday), April 28, with an
expected jackpot of $105 million!
