Leonard Yourofsky Of West Bloomfield Collects $150,000 Prize In Michigan Lottery's April 20 Big Game Drawing!

LANSING, April 26, 1999 – West Bloomfield resident Leonard Yourofsky is wearing a big smile these days, thanks to the Michigan Lottery.  Yourofsky matched the first five numbers in the April 20 Big Game drawing to win the game’s $150,000 prize!

That day’s winning numbers were: 11, 12, 17, 18, 41 and the Big Money Ball number was 6.

"When I saw the drawing results in the Detroit Free Press the next morning, I was pretty happy," said Yourofsky.  "I was at home so I called my cousin and he double-checked the numbers for me."

The 51-year-old winner said he’s been a regular Michigan Lottery player since 1972.  He plans to use his Big Game winnings to pay bills.

The winning Big Game "easy pick" ticket was purchased at Southland Corp. #12995 (7-Eleven), 4264 Orchard Lake Road, in West Bloomfield.

Since The Big Game’s first drawing in September 1996, there have been 175 $150,000 winning Big Game tickets sold by Michigan Lottery retailers!  Six Big Game jackpot-winning tickets have also been sold by Michigan retailers, including the largest in Michigan Lottery history at $45.6 million.

Tuesday’s (April 27) Big Game jackpot is estimated at $20 million, while Wednesday’s (April 28) Michigan Lotto jackpot sits at $28 million!

Big Game and Michigan Lotto tickets are available at more than 6,400 Michigan Lottery retailers throughout the state.
