Kenneth Belson Of Edmore Wins $20,000 Top Prize In The Michigan Lottery's "Ten Times The Money" Instant Game!

LANSING, April 27, 1999 – Edmore resident Kenneth Belson enjoyed a visit to the Michigan Lottery winner’s circle recently!

The NASCAR fan uncovered the $20,000 top prize in the Lottery’s "Ten Times the Money" instant game!

Belson, 37, said he scratched off the winning ticket and just stared at it.  After that he hid it in his wallet beneath a Jeff Gordon blanket for safe-keeping, before turning the ticket in at Lottery headquarters in Lansing.

Belson, a loader-operator at High Grade Materials described his hobbies as "NASCAR, bowling, hunting, and more hunting!"  He said he plans to use his winnings to pay bills.

A regular Michigan Lottery player for more than 15 years, Belson purchased the winning "Ten Times the Money" ticket at McBride Country Store, 4315 N. Division, in McBride.

"Ten Times the Money" and dozens of other Michigan Lottery instant tickets are available at more than 9,300 Lottery retailers throughout the state.
