The Club Keno jackpot on May 23 was at $124,321, until 8:01 p.m. That is when one lucky player joined the game and would be richer because of it.
This player purchased a $2 wager for a one 4-spot draw, plus The Jack for an additional dollar and the Kicker option for another $2. As the numbers appeared on the screen, the player watched with elation. One by one all of the numbers matched with his Jack numbers. Then to make the win even sweeter, he matched two of his four Club Keno numbers and with a 2x Kicker, his $2 prize doubled to $4. Added to The Jack win, this wager quickly made this player $124,325 richer!
The winning ticket was purchased at Kenny’s Market located at 7850 N. Telegraph Rd. in Newport.
