Get ready, get set, and go enter the Michigan Lottery’s hottest summer promotion – Summer’s Ahoy! which gives players the chance to win a 25-ft pontoon boat.

There are three ways players can enter to possibly become the captain of the ship in the Summers Ahoy! drawing:

  1. Player’s Club members can earn automatic entries for every $10 in non-winning Michigan Lottery tickets that are submitted online, which mirrors the process to enter Play It Again™. It’s free and easy to join the Player’s Club:
    go to www.michiganlottery.com to sign up.
  2. Player’s Club members can use 25 of their current Reward Points for an entry. You may enter as many times as your points will allow. To enter with points players can log on to their Player’s Club account and go to the Rewards and Prizes catalog.
  3. “Like” the Michigan Lottery on Facebook (http://www.Facebook.com/MichiganLottery)! Only one entry per day will be accepted, but players can submit as many entries as they would like.

The Summer’s Ahoy! promotion runs until August 31 and the drawing will be September 5.

Daily 3 Bonus Draw: Today’s Midday pays more!

Michigan Lottery Daily 3 Bonus Draw Promotion

We’re at it again! Today’s Daily 3 Midday draw was a Bonus Draw. Congrats Daily 3 players who played 1-2-4!

The Bonus promotion pays 20 percent more in prize money to Daily 3 players who have winning numbers. For example, normally the prize payout for a $1 straight wager is $500 but for a Bonus Draw, the prize will be $600!

Bonus Draws are random throughout June and are identified on television during broadcast of the Midday and Evening winning numbers. Players will also be alerted to Bonus Draws shortly after they occur on video displays at Lottery retailer locations, in ads promoting Bonus Draws and on the Michigan Lottery’s Web site, ww.michiganlottery.com.

Over $1.1 mil in jackpots claimed by Fantasy 5 winners in June!

Fantasy 5The Fantasy 5 jackpot was won eight times from June 1 to June 26, yielding over $1.1 million in cash prizes to winners. ALL eight of those winners have claimed their spoils. Congrats to all of our Fantasy 5 winners!

The last two of the eight Fantasy 5 jackpot winners visited Lottery headquarters in Lansing on June 27. The first winner claimed his jackpot of $241,775 from the June 26 drawing. His ticket was purchased at Mam N Paps located at 33066 Garfield Rd. in Fraser.

Winner number two was in town to pick up the June 4 jackpot in the amount of $100,000. This lucky player bought his ticket at Handy Mart Party Shop located at 7121 Merriman Rd. in Garden City.

An “oops!” ticket yields player big bucks!

Fantasy 5“Extra money in my pocket allowed me to purchase a ticket that was printed in error at the Meijer in Westland. The clerk told me that it was going to be my lucky ticket – and sure it enough it was!”

That is what a Michigan Lottery winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, thought when she bought a Fantasy 5 ticket. She was elated when she found out that the “oops” ticket was the sole winner for the jackpot of $110,000 for the drawing on June 19.

It wasn’t until the end of her visit to Lottery headquarters in Lansing on June 22 when she was presented with her winnings that her good fortune became real. Paying off bills and buying a new vehicle are things she intends to do now.

The winning ticket was sold at Meijer #68 located at 37201 Warren Rd. in Westland.
