Potterville man wins $10,030 Club Keno prize

LANSING, December 13, 2006 ? Charles Osborne from Potterville won a $10,030 prize by matching nine out of 10 numbers in the 10-spot Club Keno game.  The normal payout for this match is $5,000, but ?Ozzie” kicked up his winnings by 2 because he selected the Kicker option.  The winner also matched two other draws to win an extra $30.

The 53-year-old mechanical contractor picked his own numbers from ages and birthdates.  He hid the winning ticket in his safe before cashing it in at Lottery Central in Lansing.  He has no immediate plans for his money.

Ozzie purchased the lucky winning ticket at Coach’s Pub & Grill, 6201 Bishop Rd., in Lansing.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.

Melvin woman wins $20,000

LANSING, December 13, 2006 – Bingo Times 10 proved lucky for one Melvin woman!  Pamela Robinson scratched the Instant ticket and revealed the $20,000 top prize!

The woman redeemed the ticket at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office and was shocked that she won the big prize.  The regular Lottery player plans to use the prize money to put a new roof on her house.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Meijer #163, 4775 24th St., in Ft. Gratiot.

$10,000 Mega Millions prize claimed

LANSING, December 7, 2006 – A very lucky South Haven Lottery player matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number to win a $10,000 prize in the Dec. 1 Mega Millions drawing.

Althea Grays was ecstatic about her big win.  She hid the easy pick ticket in her jewelry box before cashing it in at the Lottery’s Wyoming office.  She plans to use the prize money for bills and shopping.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Farmer Jack #443, 19195 Livernois Ave., in Detroit.

$105,001 prize claimed

LANSING, December 7, 2006 – A very lucky player claimed the jackpot amount of $105,001 from the Dec. 1 Fantasy 5 drawing.

The anonymous winner purchased the winning own pick ticket at CVS Pharmacy 08062, 28774 Gratiot Ave., in Roseville.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.
