Melvin woman wins $20,000

LANSING, December 13, 2006 – Bingo Times 10 proved lucky for one Melvin woman!  Pamela Robinson scratched the Instant ticket and revealed the $20,000 top prize!

The woman redeemed the ticket at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office and was shocked that she won the big prize.  The regular Lottery player plans to use the prize money to put a new roof on her house.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Meijer #163, 4775 24th St., in Ft. Gratiot.

Bingo Times 10 is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
