$25,002 Club Keno prize claimed

LANSING, January 12, 2007 – A very lucky anonymous Lottery player matched nine numbers in a Club Keno 9-spot game to win a $25,000 prize.  He also matched four numbers and won $2, making his grand total $25,002!

The man plans to use the easy pick winnings to take a vacation.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Lake Pointe Yacht Club, 37604 Ann Arbor Rd., in Livonia.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

Waterford player cashes in

LANSING, January 11, 2007 – A longtime Lottery player cashed in when he matched four white balls, plus the Mega ball, in the January 5 Mega Millions drawing to win $10,000!

Patrick Shea was “excited” when he discovered that his ticket was a big winner.  He hid the ticket in his dresser until claiming his prize at the Lottery office in Sterling Heights.

The lucky winner has no immediate plans for his prize money.  The winning easy pick winning ticket was purchased at Hero’s Bar-N-Grill, 39079 Mound Rd., in Sterling Heights.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.

Bingo prize claimed

LANSING, January 11, 2007 – It was a BINGO for a very lucky Lottery player who won $12,000 playing the Super Red Bingo game.

The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket at Meijer #42, 8400 Gratiot, in Saginaw.

"Spectacular" prize claimed

LANSING, January 11, 2007 – A very lucky Macomb man walked away with $1 million after he scratched a winning $40,000,000 Spectacular Instant ticket.

Leka Lucaj, a longtime Lottery player, was in disbelief when he scratched the big winner.  He enjoys all Lottery games and hid the ticket in is home before claiming the prize.

The father of three and grandfather of 11 plans to share the money with his family and church.
