Bingo prize claimed

LANSING, January 11, 2007 – It was a BINGO for a very lucky Lottery player who won $12,000 playing the Super Red Bingo game.

The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket at Meijer #42, 8400 Gratiot, in Saginaw.

Super Red Bingo is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
