Jackson woman wins $100,001

LANSING, October 31, 2007 – Jane Burnham is a lucky Fantasy 5 player!  She matched all five numbers in the Oct. 26 drawing and matched two of five numbers on another line to bring her grand prize to $100,001!

Burnham told Lottery officials that she has been playing for at least 10 years and this is her largest win to date.  She learned of her good fortune after her husband checked the ticket on the Lottery’s Web site.

She plans on paying bills, purchasing a new car and shopping with her prize money.

Burnham purchased the lucky easy pick ticket at Lakeside Party Store, 5509 Ann Arbor Rd., in Jackson.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Fantasy 5 prize claimed

LANSING, October 31, 2007 – An anonymous Flint woman claimed a $100,001 prize at Lottery Central.  She matched all five Fantasy 5 numbers on Oct. 27.

The lucky regular Lottery player checked the Sunday paper to learn of her good fortune.  She didn’t believe her eyes, so she double checked on the Lottery’s Web site!

The lucky lady plans to pay her student loans, save, and “have a little bit of fun” with her prize money.

The winner purchased the lucky easy pick ticket at Kroger #413, 5249 Corunna Rd., in Flint.

$2 million prize claimed!

LANSING, October 31, 2007 – Charles Conn of Niles claimed his huge $2 million prize that he won at the Lottery’s $2 million instant games grand prize drawing at Ford Field on Oct. 21.

The lucky man was still in shock with his win when he claimed his prize at Lottery Central in Lansing.  He told Lottery officials that he still doesn’t know how he’ll spend his winnings.

Conn was one of five finalists from around the state who participated in the drawing during the third quarter of the Detroit Lions-Tampa Bay Buccaneers game.  The five were chosen from a pool of 793 players who had won $1,000 on one of the Lottery’s $20 Instant tickets: “Mega Bucks Jackpot”, “2,000,000 Cash Winfall”, “Millionaire’s Club”, “$2,000,000 Explosion”, and “$35,000,000 Riches”.

The remaining four finalists, who each received $5,000, were Connie Keely of Sterling, Melody Rose of Pickford, Charles Weatherholt of Rockwood and John Ouellette of Monroe.

Lake Orion man wins big with Club Keno

LANSING, October 30, 2007 – A $20,015 prize was won after Michael Uhrin matched seven of seven and then three of seven numbers on his Club Keno ticket.

The normal prize for matching seven of seven and then three of seven is $2,003, but Uhrin purchased the Kicker option and bet $5 a draw to boost his prize to $20,015!

The construction worker has played the Lottery for the last 10 years and this is his largest win to date.  He randomly chose his own numbers.  He enjoys hunting in his free time and has no immediate plans for his prize money.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Christi’s Bar & Grill, 95 E. Clarkston Rd., in Lake Orion.

Club Keno ticket pays off two times!

LANSING, October 30, 2007 – A surprised couple claimed a huge prize after matching two different times on a Club Keno ticket.

Bruce & Lynn from Otsego matched zero of 10 numbers on one drawing and nine of 10 numbers and a 2X Kicker on a second drawing and won a $10,005 prize!

The couple hid the winning ticket in a save prior to cashing it in at the Lottery’s Wyoming office.  They randomly picked their own numbers and plan to take a vacation with the prize money.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Fireside Restaurant, 1290 W M-89, in Plainwell.
