LANSING, October 30, 2007 – A surprised couple claimed a huge prize after matching two different times on a Club Keno ticket.
Bruce & Lynn from Otsego matched zero of 10 numbers on one drawing and nine of 10 numbers and a 2X Kicker on a second drawing and won a $10,005 prize!
The couple hid the winning ticket in a save prior to cashing it in at the Lottery’s Wyoming office. They randomly picked their own numbers and plan to take a vacation with the prize money.
The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Fireside Restaurant, 1290 W M-89, in Plainwell.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
