LANSING, October 30, 2007 – A $20,015 prize was won after Michael Uhrin matched seven of seven and then three of seven numbers on his Club Keno ticket.
The normal prize for matching seven of seven and then three of seven is $2,003, but Uhrin purchased the Kicker option and bet $5 a draw to boost his prize to $20,015!
The construction worker has played the Lottery for the last 10 years and this is his largest win to date. He randomly chose his own numbers. He enjoys hunting in his free time and has no immediate plans for his prize money.
The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Christi’s Bar & Grill, 95 E. Clarkston Rd., in Lake Orion.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
