A Wayne County man thought he won $150 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Magic Money Ride online instant game until he put his glasses on and realized he actually won $150,000!

“I play online at MichiganLottery.com regularly and usually try a different game each time I play,” said the player, who chose to remain anonymous. “I was a few rounds into Magic Money Ride when my phone started going crazy! I didn’t have my glasses on, so I thought I won $150 at first. When I put my glasses on and saw it was actually $150,000, I dropped my phone in disbelief. This prize is going to be a nice bonus for my wife and I.”

The 53-year-old player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim the big prize. With his winnings he plans to pay bills and then save the remainder.
