Berrien County Man Wins $200,000 Club Keno Prize from the Michigan Lottery

Winning TicketA Berrien County man’s weekly stop for burger night led him to a $200,000 Club Keno prize from the Michigan Lottery.

The 57-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, won $100,000 when his Club Keno numbers – 03-15-19-26-38-42-49-56-67-73 – matched 10 of the 20 Club Keno numbers drawn in draw 2302076 on Feb. 28. Thanks to The KICKER, the prize was multiplied to $200,000. He bought his winning ticket at Chatterbox Bar & Grill, located at 390 Territorial Road in Benton Harbor.

“I go to Chatterbox every week for burger night and always buy a few Club Keno tickets while I’m there,” said the player. “It was nearing the end of my draws and I’d only won $4, so I thought that was all I was going to win. On the third to last draw, I matched four numbers, then 5, and so on, and I thought to myself: ‘I might win big here!’ When my tenth number was drawn, I couldn’t believe it. Winning still hasn’t sunk in.”

The lucky player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim the big prize. With his winnings, he plans to pay bills, put a down payment on a new home, and save for retirement.

Club Keno gives players 37 different ways to play and win. Players select up to 10 numbers to match from one to 80, with prize amounts determined based on the amount the player wagered. Club Keno may be played at Lottery retailers across the state. Drawings are every three and a half minutes. Results and live drawings may be found online at MichiganLottery.com.

In 2023, Lottery players won more than $394 million playing Club Keno, The KICKER, The Extra, and The Jack.
