Back-to-Back: Michigan Lottery Player Wins $25,000 a Year for Life Playing Lucky For Life; Winning Ticket Bought in Livonia

It happened again. A Michigan Lottery player has won a lifetime of cash in back-to-back drawings winning $25,000 a year for life playing Lucky For Life.

A ticket matched the five white balls drawn Tuesday night – 18-25-34-39-48 – to win the big prize. The winning ticket was bought at Merriman Drugs, located at 31320 5 Mile Road in Livonia.

Lucky For Life has been exceptionally lucky for Lottery players this year. The big win marks the fifth time this year, fourth time this month, and second time in as many drawings that a Michigan player has won a lifetime prize playing Lucky For Life. The previous big wins came on:

  • March 25, with a ticket bought online at com.
  • March 23, with a ticket bought at the Value Center Market, located at 27428 6 Mile Road in Livonia.
  • March 12, with a ticket bought online at com. This prize was recently claimed by an Escanaba woman.
  • 20, with a ticket bought at Borders Corner Store, located at 7024 East Pickard Road in Mount Pleasant.

The lucky winners have two choices to collect the big prizes:

  • Annual $25,000 payments for a minimum of 20 years or life, whichever is greater, or
  • A one-time lump sum cash payment of $390,000

The lucky winners should contact the Michigan Lottery Player Relations Division at 844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment to collect the big prizes. The prizes must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing. Lucky For Life tickets are valid for one year from the drawing date.
