Muskegon Man Wins $450,000 on the Michigan Lottery’s The Big Spin Show

Winning $450,000 on the Michigan Lottery’s The Big Spin show is still sinking in for a Muskegon man.

Greg Dietz, 51, won the big prize after spinning the prize wheel on The Big Spin show hosted by Detroit basketball champion, John Salley. Dietz was selected to participate in the show after entering codes from non-winning The Big Spin tickets online.

“When I received the call informing me that I was selected as a The Big Spin contestant, I was so shocked that I couldn’t remember anything else the Lottery employee said,” said Dietz. “After I got off the phone and processed the news for a few minutes, I had to call the Lottery back and have them go over all the details again.

“It is still sinking in that I was selected to spin the wheel and that I won $450,000. This whole experience has been so unexpected, but I couldn’t be more grateful. With my winnings, I am planning to take a vacation and invest.”

Players have won more than $11 million playing The Big Spin which launched in September. More than $60 million in prizes remain, including three $1 million top prizes, four $10,000 prizes, and 124 $1,000 prizes.
