A Kent County woman’s last-minute decision to play the Michigan Lottery’s Michigan Cash Drop instant game online paid off when she won a $100,000 prize.
“I play the Michigan Cash Drop game quite often and always believed I would win on it,” said the 56-year-old player who chose to remain anonymous. “I had a couple minutes left on my lunch break, so I decided to play a few games.
“In the middle of my game, the whole screen lit up and a message came up saying I won $100,000. I didn’t believe it, so I took a screenshot. When I exited the game and saw $100,000 added to my account balance, I couldn’t believe it. I feel so blessed!”
The lucky player visited Lottery headquarters to claim her big prize. With her winnings, she plans to pay bills and then save the remainder.
